DR. ELIZABETH YOST HAMMER has been named director of the Center for the Advancement of Teaching at Xavier University of Louisiana. She is also a professor in the psychology department at the university. Hammer received a bachelor's from Troy State University and a master's and doctorate from Tulane University.
