DR. ELSA MURANO has been named president of Texas A&M University. Previously, she served as vice chancellor and dean of the College of Agriculture and Life Sciences at Texas A&M. Murano earned a bachelor's from Florida International University, and a master's and doctorate from Virginia Polytechnic Institute and State University.
