The CALIFORNIA INSTITUTE OF TECHNOLOGY has received a $250,000 grant from the California State Treasury Department to support a free tutoring program for Pasadena County high-schoolers. The three-year Reaffirming and Increasing Scholastic Endeavors (RISE) Program provides intensive math and science tutoring for 10th- and 11th-graders in the public school system.
