KEVIN G. MCDONALD has been named vice president for multicultural affairs and equity at Virginia Polytechnic Institute and State University. Previously, he served as the director of the university's office for equal opportunity. He holds a bachelor's from Andrews University and a law degree from The Ohio State University.
