JOHNSON C. SMITH UNIVERSITY (N.C.) has received $1 MILLION from the Wachovia Foundation to expand the Wachovia Excellence Endowed Scholarship, which is currently funded at $90,000. Some of the funds will also go to launch the JCSU Student Leadership Program. Through the SLP, students will focus on enhancing professional and leadership skills.
