The University of Illinois at Chicago was awarded $1.2 MILLION in grants to promote public safety programs

The UNIVERSITY OF ILLINOIS AT CHICAGO was awarded $1.2 MILLION in grants to promote public safety programs. Granted by the U.S. Department of Justice's Office of Community Oriented Policing Services and the Bureau of Justice Assistance, the funds will be used for programs that focus on methamphetamine abuse, gangs and campus security.
