Dr. Carmen Puliafito has been named dean of the Keck School of Medicine at the University of Southern California. Most recently, he served as director of the Bascom Palmer Eye Institute and chairman of the department of ophthalmology at the University of Miami Miller School of Medicine. Puliafito earned a bachelor's from Harvard University, an MBA from the University of Pennsylvania and a medical degree from Harvard Medical School.
