Pomona College has been awarded nearly $1 million in grants by the Gordon and Betty Moore Foundation, the Rose Hills Foundation and the Irvine Foundation

> POMONA COLLEGE (Calif.) has been awarded nearly $1 MILLION in grants by the Gordon and Betty Moore Foundation, the Rose Hills Foundation and the Irvine Foundation. A $730,000 grant from the Moore Foundation will go to purchase science equipment, a $200,000 grant from the Rose Hills Foundation will fund student research and a $10,000 grant from the Irvine Foundation's New Connections program will go to support the arts.
