MOLLY CORBETT BROAD has been named president of the American Council on Education (ACE), the nation's principal higher education association, effective May 1. She served as president of the University of North Carolina System from 1997-2006. Currently, she is a professor in the School of Government at UNC-Chapel Hill. Broad earned a bachelor's from Syracuse University and a master's from The Ohio State University.
