Diverse Issues in Higher Education, March 22, 2007
DUKE UNIVERSITY (N.C.) has received a $10 MILLION contribution from the Bill and Melinda Gates Foundation to support scholarships for undergraduate and business school students. Ninety percent of the funds will be used to provide need-based scholarships for undergraduates, while the rest will go towards scholarships for graduate students in the business school.
