C. Ray Williams Jr. has been appointed director of multicultural programs and services at Virginia Polytechnic Institute and State University. Most recently, he was the assistant director of the university's Multicultural Academic Opportunities Program. Williams earned a bachelor's and master's from Radford University in Virginia.
