The A. JAMES CLARK SCHOOL OF ENGINEERING AT THE UNIVERSITY OF MARYLAND, COLLEGE PARK, has received a $1.2 MILLION grant from the National Institutes of Health for research in auditory neuroscience. Researchers will work to understand how acoustic modulations, speech and other sounds are encoded in the auditory cortex.
