The UNIVERSITY OF VIRGINIA has received a $100 MILLION donation from alum Frank Batten Sr., the retired chairman and CEO of Landmark Communications Inc. The donation, the largest in the history of the university, will establish the Frank Batten School of Leadership and Public Policy. Batten had previously donated $60 million to the School of Business.
