A LOUISIANA STATE UNIVERSITY chemist, Barry Dellinger, has been awarded a $30,000 grant by the American Chemical Society for his work, which includes research in the formation of toxic combustion by-products, incineration of hazardous materials, combustion-generated nanoparticles and environmentally persistent free radicals.
