DR. DAMIAN FERNANDEZ has been appointed provost and executive vice president of academic affairs of Purchase College (N.Y.), effective Aug. 1. Fernandez received a bachelor's from Princeton University, a master's from the University of Florida and a doctorate from the University of Miami.
