Citi Data Introduces Business Card Management Software
Comline Computers, Feb 18, 1999
Citi Data has been very successful with its software, most recently introducing a system for entering business cards and for image processing them. The company is also entering the CD multimedia market and Internet services. Citi Data's roots are in natural language processing and Chinese language document recognition technology. The new business card software uses fuzzy indexing to differentiate Chinese characters, so it does not require proofing, and is highly efficient. The company is also engaged in a joint product with Tungli Publishers to publish a cartoon CD called E Tribe CD Club, which comes out every two months. The company has formed an alliance with Show Tower's FICNET to provide value-added Internet services on the FICNET network. Citi Data is also taking strides towards entering the Mainland China market.
