NetCentric Corporation, the leader in carrier-class IP fax systems, and Microsoft Corporation, Thursday announced that NetCentric has been selected for the Microsoft Certified Solutions Provider (MCSP) Alliance program for Windows NT and Communications. As a MCSP Alliance member, NetCentric's FaxStorm, the award-winning Internet fax software, will be used to deliver an approved solution to Microsoft's 18,000 Certified Solutions Providers and to its enterprise customers. This is part of NetCentric's strategy to accelerate the global adoption of Internet fax by both enabling as many Internet fax on-ramps as possible, including Windows NT-based applications, and working with partners to support open industry standards.

Under the terms of this joint channel and marketing agreement, NetCentric will distribute its software developer's kit (SDK), as well as offer phone support and trial Internet fax accounts, to Certified Solutions Providers to enable them to integrate Internet fax capabilities into their software and hardware applications. This will allow Microsoft enterprise customers to take advantage of the productivity, security and cost benefits of Internet fax.
"As an Alliance partner, we will work closely with other key partners to integrate the power and ease-of-use of Internet fax into widely-deployed NT-based applications," said John Fleming, vice president, marketing and business development for NetCentric Corporation. "It is this integration with applications, as well as deployment by carriers and NSPs, that will drive the growth of the Internet fax market."
MCSP Alliance The MCSP Alliance is a Microsoft-sponsored affiliation of products and service companies that have been brought together for the benefit of Microsoft Certified Solutions Providers. MCSPs are independent organizations working with Microsoft that include a wide range of companies, such as systems integrators, custom application developers, installation and deployment service providers, business consultants and training organizations. MCSPs add value by offering their customers a full range of services, including Internet, intranet and e-commerce solutions, line-of-business applications, and client/server implementations.
