Executive Suite: Intel Appoints Ling Bundgaard as Vice President - Company Operations - Brief Article

Intel Corporation Thursday announced that Ling Bundgaard has been appointed a vice president of the Technology and Manufacturing Group. Bundgaard, 53, is general manager of Intel Philippines Mfg., Inc. and Intel Technology Philippines, Inc. She is responsible for Intel's local site assembly and test facility including operations, administration and relationships with external parties. Bundgaard joined Intel in 1972 and held a number of management positions in product manufacturing, testing and logistics. She became responsible for the long range planning and master scheduling of all Intel component manufacturing worldwide. Bundgaard most recently served as Shanghai site general manager from 1996-99. A native of Indonesia, Bundgaard worked at the Fairchild Corporation from 1966-71 before joining Intel.
