Acquisition: Amdahl Acquires Sentryl Software Corp. Assets, Offers Industry's First Enterprise-Wide Application Recovery Solution for Complex Business Processes

Amdahl Global Solutions, a division of Amdahl Corporation, Monday announced the acquisition of key assets and intellectual property of Sentryl Software Corporation. Sentryl Software is a leading provider of automated storage management software to the Global 2000 community. The STARS Application Management software suite, acquired from Sentryl optimizes the backup and application recovery process throughout the enterprise. With this asset acquisition, Amdahl and its affiliates gain Sentryl's Development, Support and Sales organizations, as well as distribution channels in 13 countries.
