Ken Jones Joins Vitesse as Vice President, ATE Division - Vitesse Semiconductor - Company Operations

Vitesse Semiconductor Corp. (NASDAQ:VTSS) Monday announced that Ken Jones has joined the company as the vice president and general manager of the Automatic Test Equipment (ATE) division.

Jones has also become an officer of the company. Responsible for the development and promotion of Vitesse's ATE standard products, Jones reports directly to Louis R. Tomasetta, Vitesse's chief executive officer and president.

"We are looking forward to Ken's vision, drive and dedicated approach to fulfill Vitesse's development of new standard products for the ATE arena," stated Tomasetta. "His vast heritage within the testing marketplace will benefit the division with the increased prospect of profitable product offerings and sales for this area of Vitesse business," concluded Tomasetta.

Jones has an extensive background in the specification and marketing of semiconductor test and packaging solutions. Most recently at MicroModule Systems Inc., Jones was director of marketing and sales with product line responsibility for high density IC packaging. Previously, Jones held several marketing and engineering management positions during his ten-year tenure at LTX Corp.
