eCode Tuesday announced important new personalization options to its popular eCode online identity management service. Effective immediately, eCode members can add graphical business cards to their personal email messages and Web pages. The new features allow members to personalize their email and Web pages while making it simpler for friends and associates to access their contact information.

"eCode is changing the way Internet users stay in touch with one another," said Rohit Chandra, founder and CEO of eCode.com. "eCode allows members to create an online business card called WebCard that contains their name and contact information. Whenever the member changes the information, the updated WebCard is instantly accessible to the user's network of contacts. The new features announced Tuesday take the eCode online identity service to a new level by allowing members to personalize their email and Web pages with the graphical image of their eCode WebCard." Today's new features are consistent with eCode.com's strategy of continuous service enhancement. Recent additions to the service include personal URL addresses hosted at eCode.com. During the next month, eCode.com plans to further enhance the usability of the eCode service by introducing a completely redesigned eCode.com Web site which will offer simplified navigation, improved features and a new professional look and feel. The company's eCode.com online identity service, which was first launched in August 1998, allows computer users to create self-updating online business cards and address books.
