Fulfilling its commitment of delivering the best IT solutions to enterprise, Small and Medium Business, and consumer customers, Compaq Computer Corporation Monday announced its support of Intel Pentium III processor. Compaq will make the Pentium III processor available in the Deskpro, ProLiant, Prosignia, Armada, Professional Workstations AP line and Presario product lines following delivery of the new processor by Intel.

The new processor will ensure that Compaq customers have the highest processing power -- up to 500 MHz. "Compaq's strategic partnership with Intel enables Compaq to deliver the latest advances in processing to its customers, at the earliest possible moment," said Enrico Pesatori, senior vice president of corporate marketing, Compaq Computer Corporation. "The rapid inclusion of the Pentium III processor in our product lines is another example of Compaq's industry leadership and commitment to providing our customers with the best global IT solutions."
