TellSoft Technologies, Inc. (http://tellsoft.com) Wednesday announced the addition of Hewlett-Packard's (HP) Scott King as vice president of worldwide sales and MarketScape's Bill Alexander as chief financial officer to its management team.
Together, King and Alexander bring over 25 years of combined computer, telephony and communications experience to TellSoft.
As vice president of worldwide sales, King is responsible for driving revenue by propelling TellSoft's breakthrough, enterprise-class Internet software products and applications into new, global markets.

King brings extensive experience in the communications market and a proven track record of success to TellSoft. Most recently, King led HP's Telecommunications Systems Business to extremely prolific sales figures in 1998. During his 15-year tenure with HP, King was highly successful in the marketing and sales activities for the introductory phase of HP's MediaStream server products, cable modems and LMDS broadband wireless systems. As the sales manager for HP's MediaStream server products, King was primarily responsible for recruiting key software partners, such as Oracle and Sybase.
Alexander joins TellSoft as chief financial officer responsible for guiding the financial interests of the company and expediting TellSoft's growth in the industry. Alexander is a standout financial professional with extensive experience in growing successful, high-technology software companies. Alexander most recently served as chief financial officer of MarketScape Inc., a venture capital-backed Internet software company.
Prior to his position with MarketScape, Alexander was founder of The Software Edge, Inc., a software development tools supplier that he led from inception to successful acquisition by Intersolv, Inc. Alexander also spent five years at Hewlett-Packard in a variety of financial management positions and worked for the Microsoft Corporation in marketing.
