Infoseek Reports Fourth Quarter Fiscal 1999 Results; Revenues More Than Doubled Year-Over-Year to $41.3 Million - Company Financial Information

-- GO Money. During the quarter, Infoseek launched a redesign of GO Money which now features a sleeker user interface and more news content sources, including Motley Fool, CBS MarketWatch, and TheStreet.com. Additionally, Infoseek and VerticalOne Corporation signed an agreement to offer GO Network users a new level of convenience on the Internet for accessing and managing personal account information all in one place.

-- GO Travel. Travelocity.com partnered with Infoseek to become the preferred online travel provider of air, car and hotel booking capabilities for GO Network, and Vacationspot.com signed on to offer users of GO Network access to online lodging and booking resources.

-- GO Entertainment. Veteran entertainment writer and editor Edward Margulies joined the editorial team at GO Network's Mr. Showbiz as the "Showbiz Confidential" columnist. Margulies served 10 years as an editor with Movieline Magazine and continues to serve as editorial director of Movieline Online.

-- GO Kids. Infoseek announced a new innovative center which brings fun and exciting features such as "The Zeether" at Disney.com, Mamamedia, Bonus.com, Ask Jeeves, and Headbone to children of all ages. Kids can enjoy great interactive activities, explore the latest games, get help with homework, and navigate through top-quality kid destinations.

-- GO Food & Drink. This new and improved center now offers cooking, restaurant and beverage information, including a popular recipe finder and a restaurant locator. Users can exchange recipes, trade cooking tips or talk about food and wine on GO Network message boards and chat rooms.

-- GO Broadcast recently became a one-stop location for downloadable music, live radio, music videos, video clips and more. In addition, GO Network increased the streaming video content available to its users through an expanded agreement with Entertainment Boulevard, which created and will host co-branded pop-up players at GO Broadcast and Mr. Showbiz for easy viewing of its extensive archive of music videos and selections from one of the largest libraries of movie trailers on the Web.

-- Ericsson alliance. Infoseek embarked upon a strategic alliance with Ericsson to test innovative wireless Internet services on GO Network. The goal of the relationship between Infoseek and Ericsson is to determine service, technical, and business models for wireless services.

Web Search & Directory

-- GO Guides. A new and innovative community directory that offers a participant-based voting and ranking system to encourage user participation in creating the highest quality directory on the Web was introduced in August. Over 4,000 users have since become GO Guides.

-- GO Network Express Search. This application helps users find information by searching multiple search sites simultaneously.

The integration of GO Translator, a robust machine translation engine, into search results allows users to translate any Web site from one language into another. GO Translator is also one of the most popular downloads on the newly released Palm VII.
