HP Slashes North American Prices on HP ProCurve Networking Products; Great Savings for End-user Customers on Award-winning 10/100 Technology - Product Information

Hewlett-Packard Company, a leader in networking technologies, Monday announced significant price reductions on several HP ProCurve 10/100 networking products for North America. This offer is good on HP's award-winning HP ProCurve Switch 8000M and 1600M, and on the HP ProCurve 10/100 Hub 24.

HP ProCurve Networking recently announced software upgrades (see Sept. 7 release) that provide advanced high-availability and high-performance features across the managed 10/100 line of wiring closet switches. These features include Cisco FastEtherChannel, Switch meshing, automatic broadcast control and protocol filters. Furthermore, the price reductions on the 10/100 solutions, such as the HP ProCurve Switch 8000M and 1600M, deliver networking technology at industry-leading price points.

The HP ProCurve Switch 8000M, which provides maximum media flexibility, and the HP ProCurve Switch 1600M, which provides a cost-effective 10/100 solution, complement HP's existing line of 10/100 devices. The North American price cuts are scheduled to be available on Oct. 1.
