Lam Research Corporation, a leading supplier of front-end wafer processing equipment to the worldwide semiconductor manufacturing industry, has announced the appointment of Steven A. Lindsay as vice president of corporate marketing.
He will report directly to James W. Bagley, chairman and chief executive officer.
Lindsay, a 32-year veteran of the semiconductor industry, has extensive management experience in all facets of marketing and sales for a global, multi-billion dollar organization. Prior to joining Lam, he held numerous executive positions in the semiconductor equipment industry. Most recently, Lindsay served as president, Applied Materials North America and group vice president, Applied Materials, Inc.
