Iomega Corporation, a leader in smart, portable storage solutions, Tuesday announced the promotion of Roxie Craycraft to executive vice president, international business units.
Craycraft's primary responsibilities will include strategic business management and P&L for Asia Pacific, Europe and Latin America, with focus on expanding the Iomega presence in the international marketplace.
"Promoting Roxie to this position fully supports Iomega's renewed commitment to profitable growth and expansion in these critical and emerging markets," said Bruce Albertson, president and COO, Iomega Corporation. "Roxie has made significant contributions to Iomega in the areas of customer support and quality. His thorough knowledge of Iomega products and our customers, combined with his broad business experience, makes him an ideal choice to manage our international business."

Craycraft's main objectives will be to establish an organization to increase Iomega's business in Latin America and to continue the success Iomega has had in the Asia Pacific and European markets.
Under Craycraft's direction as vice president of customer service and quality, Iomega received the Association of Support Professionals "Ten Best Web Support Sites of 1999" for improving customers' ability to find support on the Web. Craycraft's quality team led Iomega's dramatic 50 percent reduction in warranty returns over the past two years and has been instrumental in implementing quality standard improvements resulting in recognition from OEM customers, including the "Most Improved Supplier Award" from Dell Computer Corporation.
Craycraft joined Iomega in 1996 as director for materials and was responsible for Iomega's global inventories, production planning and materials functions. He has managed the customer service team since 1997. Before joining Iomega, Craycraft was employed by Gates Corporation where he served in various senior management capacities including managing director, Asia Pacific, and as corporate materials manager, plant manager and business manager. Craycraft has extensive experience in multiple business functions, including general management, international sales and marketing, manufacturing, materials and logistics and customer service and quality.
