ObjectSwitch and NetToll Partner to Provide an End-to-End Digital Content & Services Billing Solution - Company Business and Marketing

ObjectSwitch Corporation, the emerging leader in fault-tolerant infrastructure for scalable e-Services, and NetToll, the world's first IP-centric payment system, Monday announced a strategic alliance. ObjectSwitch will be the first NetToll partner to interface with the innovative NetToll Credit Gateway software using ObjectSwitch's flagship mediation platform -- OSCDM.

The NetToll Credit Gateway is a part of the NetToll payment system, an IP-centric software solution that enables users to purchase digital goods and services and be billed for them via their ISP or telephone bill. The NetToll Credit Gateway produces billing tickets (known as toll detail records, TDRs), similar to call detail records (CDRs) produced by telephony switches.

ObjectSwitch's infrastructure software will apply in real time a set of conversion, aggregation and augmentation process to the TDRs and pass them to the operator billing systems in batch or real time mode. The flexibility of ObjectSwitch Call Detail Mediation will enable network operators to easily and rapidly launch carrier grade IP-based billing system for voice/video/data services based on real usage.
