Industry: Email Alert RSS FeedSignal relay suits high density switching
Electronics Times, July 17, 2000
Fujitsu Takamiswa has introduced an ultra-miniature signal relay FTR-B3 that meets the latest European standards for fourth-generation signal relays. The FTR-B3 relay suits high density mounting such as central office switching systems, PABXs, network equipment, modem and facsimile.
Super miniature size and high-density type, the FTR-B3 (SMT) measures 7.2 x 10.6 x 5.45mm (l x w x h). This is meant as an aid to designers of next-generation data- and telecom equipment to meet the global standards. It also contributes to more compact and lightweight designs.
Suitable for IRS and VPS mounting (SMT type) adopting high heat- resistant materials, a one coil latching type is available as well.

In addition to IEC612811-55 standards, the relay meets IEC60950/UL1950 requirements for basic insulation, contact spacing and high breakdown voltage. It also complies with FCC Part 68 and Bellcore's 2.5Kv surge requirements.
