Flying High - International Pages - Brief Article

Electronics Times, July 24, 2000

The Zvezda living module has reached orbit and is expected to rendezvous and dock with the International Space Station at 00.45 on Wednesday.

Flight controllers will carry out a docking test on the station on Monday, making initial corrections to align it with the Zvezda module.

The module, left of picture in an artist's concept of the docking, will provide living quarters for astronauts, life support, power distribution, data processing, flight controls and propulsion systems.
