The latest ETQP6F range of SMD power chokes from Panasonic Industrial combines a wide range of inductance values with high current ratings and low DC resistance levels.
Featuring standard winding technology on a ferrite core, the chokes suit DC/DC converter applications designed for operation at around 100kHz and similar applications where cost, efficiency, EMC and power density are all key design criteria.
They are suitable for notebook PCs, automotive systems and distributed power supplies for telecom and ISP equipment. Compact SMD packaging also makes ETQP6F chokes suitable for on-board converters in rack- mounted systems where card spacing is typically less than 10mm.

The range includes the HL series of high inductance, low loss chokes with inductance values from 1.2 to 10.2 micro H (at 100kHz) and the LB series that offers inductance values from 0.8 to 4.1 micro H and offers minimum saturation currents up to 25.2A at ambient temperature.
