Photoelectric sensor range is boosted - Brief Article

Electronics Times, May 15, 2000

Applied use of innovative technologies has enabled Matsushita to expand its range of UZB photoelectric sensors. The miniature UZB5/6 series features an advanced single-chip optical IC system.

A feature of the UZB5/6 is the sensitivity adjuster integral to the sensor head.

This, combined with a red dot LED, means that rapid and precise focusing and sensitivity changes can readily be made, allowing greater versatility in operation and a reduction in set-up times.

A sensing range of 2m (depending on type) means that the device can be used on wide conveyor belts.
