Rotary encoder is Meggitt-compatible - Brief Article

Electronics Times, May 8, 2000

Devlin Electronics has introduced a 16-position rotary encoder, fully compatible with industry-standard Meggitt-style encoders.

The encoders incorporate a diecast body and comprehensive shielding with a positive detent action for ease of use. They are particularly suited to high-reliability uses such as channel selection of comms equipment and the setting of programming codes for data acquisition.

Other applications will include controls systems and most general- purpose electronic, computer or telecoms systems.
