Metal circular push-pull connectors for industrial uses

Quiller Electronics is offering a range of metal push-pull circular connectors from IAC.

Series PM1 is a power connector that complies with VDE 0627. It is designed to meet the safety requirement of power supply connectors with a forward projecting earth contact which is connected to the shell. Up to six contacts rated between 10 and 125A are provided.

Series P2 is intended for data and signal transmission and has a pin density of up to 41 contacts. Current ratings of the contacts also allow the connector to be used for low power transmission of up to 10A.

Both styles are rated at 1000 mating cycles, with an operating temperature range of -40 to 125 degrees C. Environmental protection to IP67 can be provided.

A wide selection of backshells, strain relief systems and seals are provided, with options including straight and 90 degrees C formats and sealed (IP 67) and unsealed (IP 30).

The PM series can also be connected direct to conduit, and is available with a braid sheath that provides shielding to 80dB at 3GHz. Over- moulded cable plug versions are also available.
