Hyperstone's E1-32XS 32bit microcontroller offers powerful risc architecture with integrated DSP support, 16Kbyte on-chip SRAM and extensive options for low-power operation. This integrated design offers a solution for use in a range of portable multimedia and consumer electronics.
The fully static design running at 180MHz is implemented in 2.5V/0.25 micro m technology. Communication between the risc and DSP units is provided via the 96way 32bit internal register set.
The E1-32XS is said to be power efficient at 3.6gops/W, achieved through the parallel operation of three functional blocks.
