The Mitel MT92303 3.3V dual codec is now available from DIP International.
The device features four audio transmit/receive interfaces and is part of the firm's voice-over-IP (VoIP) chipset. When combined with the MT92102 VoIP processor and MT933 Ethernet PHY, it forms a complete solution for VoIP phone.
The code is compatible with either ulaw, Alaw or 16bit linear PCM data formats. A cross point switch connects the PCM channels to any of the four audio TX/RX interfaces. There are built in earpiece and mic interfaces which help cut down on the external component count.
