It's a watch. It's a camera. Yup, it's a Casio. The Japanese group has developed the first wearable digital camera watch, the WQV-1. It can store up to 100 images or a combination of pictures, text and numbers, all of which can be transferred to a PC.

Ever found yourself hearing the call of nature during a penalty shoot- out? Sony has the answer. Get yourself an Airboard, a portable tablet with a laptop-sized screen which can receive wireless signals from a TV, a DVD player or a PC from 30m away. The US launch is set for late 2001.

It's bad enough that e-mail can follow you all the way to your desk and, pretty soon, your fridge. Spam might have a place in the kitchen, but do you want it in every room? DesignTech International thinks so, and has launched a wireless display unit that will alert recipients to news from those `letstryandsupplyit.coms' anywhere in the home.

Calling all sales executives. Has driving 40,000 miles a year left you fed up with radio playlists? Thanks to MP3 player specialist Rio, you might never need to listen to the same song again. The Rio Car is a removable dashboard-mounted MP3 and CD player that can store 1000 hours of music.
