Latest table of party strength in Diet

TOKYO, Dec. 21 Kyodo The Democratic Party of Japan (DPJ) on Tuesday allowed Kenji Sugekawa, a member of the House of Councillors who has quit the New Komeito-affiliated Reformers Network Party, to join the DPJ.

* The following is an updated table of party strength in both houses of the Diet.
