TOKYO, Aug. 12 Kyodo
Prime Minister Junichiro Koizumi received a complete half-day medical checkup at a Tokyo hospital Monday.
Koizumi received the checkup at the International Medical Center of Japan in Tokyo's Shinjuku Ward. He received a checkup last year at the center.

Koizumi is on holiday until Aug. 22, the premier's office said earlier.
