In memoriam: Jack Kooker

John "Jack" Kooker, Jr., AMI executive director from 1981 to 1983, passed away on Jan. 4, 2008 in San Francisco, CA. He was born April 15, 1929 in Reading, PA. He graduated from Mount Penn High School and received his Bachelor of Science from The Pennsylvania State University in 1951. Jack entered the Unites States Air Force, serving as a Captain during the Korean War. He is survived by wife Patricia, children Mark, Jill and stepsons Stephen and Michael. He is preceded in death by his son David and daughter Anne.

Funeral services were conducted in January at Pacific Gardens Chapel in Santa Cruz, CA. Jack will be interred at Arlington National Cemetery with full military honor services at a later date.
