Affiliate trees - News from the World of Trees

American Forests, Spring, 2002

Companies or nonprofits with websites or e-mail can earn a 20 percent commission by promoting the planting of historic trees from AMERICAN FORESTS' Historic Tree Nursery. Participating groups simply provide a link to www.historictrees.org from their website or e-mail. Each time someone clicks through and purchases a tree, the affiliate member receives a commission.

Emerson Brantley Of AMERICAN FORESTS' Historic Tree Nursery says the program offers a means to promote environmental improvement while making money for conservation and environmental groups, historic sites, gardening clubs, parks, ethnic and cultural groups, museums, schools, and civic groups. Among the first groups to become an affiliate was Earth Share, which represents more than 400 environmental and conservation organizations.

For more information about becoming a Historic Tree Nursery affiliate, visit www.historictrees.org, or call Brantley at 800/320-8733.
