Outstanding in our field - News from the World of Trees - Brief Article

American Forests, Summer, 2002

AMERICAN FORESTS is pleased to announce the addition of three field reps to our 126-year-old organization. Field reps are instrumental in spreading AMERICAN FORESTS' conservation message and representing us at local and regional events.

Northeast rep is Carl Reidel, American Forests' book review editor and a former member of the board. Carl is emeritus professor at the University of Vermont. Covering the Great Lakes region is Ronald G. Abraham, a longtime member who recently retired from his post as Ohio's state forester. In Virginia, our rep is Joseph Murray, assistant professor of biology at Blue Ridge Community College in Weyers Cave.
