September 5-7. Chevy Chase, MD. CHEVY CHASE ANTIQUES SHOW. "A gem of a show," the annual Chevy Chase Antiques Show will be held at the Woman's Club of Chevy Chase, 7931 Connecticut Avenue. Dealers from around the country will offer period American and English furniture and accessories, including clocks, early glass and ceramics, silver and jewelry, prints, watercolors, paintings, Medieval illuminated manuscripts, classical antiquities, Oriental rugs, country furnishings, folk art, and much more. Special events include a Gala Preview Party on Thursday, September 4, 6-9pm with a Wine and Cocktail Buffet and an Antiques Treasure Hunt; Appraisals of Antiques on Friday, September 5, 3-5pm; and Complimentary Wine and Cheese along with dealer booth talks on decorative and fine arts on Saturday, September 6, 4-6pm.
