September 10-12. CHEVY CHASE ANTIQUES SHOW, WASHINGTON, D.C. "A gem of a show," the 44th annual CHEVY CHASE ANTIQUES SHOW will be held SEPTEMBER 10, 11, and 12 at the Woman's Club of Chevy Chase, 7931 Connecticut Ave., Chevy Chase, Maryland. Dealers from around the country will offer period American and English formal and country furniture and accessories, including clocks; early glass and ceramics; silver and jewelry; fine art; Medieval illuminated manuscripts; classical antiquities; Oriental rugs; folk art, and much more. Special events include a Gala Preview Party on Thursday, September 9, 6-9 p.m. with a Wine and Cocktail Buffet and an Antiques Treasure Hunt; Appraisals of Antiques on Friday, September 10, 3-5 p.m.; and a talk on "The Many Ways to Appraise Your Treasures" on Saturday 11, 3:00 p.m., followed by Complimentary Wine and Cheese.
