May 18-19. Stanhope, NJ. WATERLOO ANTIQUES FAIR. This large and festive event, now in its 26th year, features 200 exhibitors in lovely Sussex County, New Jersey, with lots of nearby antiques centers and restaurants, just 55 minutes west of the George Washington Bridge. Antiques lovers will find the northeast's largest selection of affordable furniture at this show-- country, Victorian, folk, rustic, formal, funky wicker, primitives, garden, architectural and more. May 25-27. Chadds Ford, PA. THE BRANDYWINE RIVER MUSEUM ANTIQUES SHOW. For thirty-one years an important show for collectors and lovers of antiques, the annual Brandywine River Museum Antiques Show will be held on May 25, 26, 27 at the Brandywine River Museum, located on U.S. Route 1 in Chadds Ford, Pennsylvania. Dealers from fourteen states will offer fine American formal and high country furniture and decorative arts form the early 18th century through the early 19th C. Opening with a Preview Sale & Reception on Friday May 24, the show continues Saturday, Sunday, and Monday from 10 am to 5 pm each day. This year's special exhibition, "Little Windsors: American Chairs for Children, 1760-1850" will feature 30 children's Windsors-from high chairs, side chairs and armchairs to rockers and settees.
