November 6-9. Wilmington, DE. 40TH ANNUAL DELAWARE ANTIQUES SHOW, a benefit for Winterthur education programs. November 8-9 and 15-16. New York, NY. TRIPLE PIER ANTIQUES SHOW. New York's largest and most exciting antiques & collectibles event presents 600 different exhibits each weekend with over 200,000 square feet of amazing treasures that bring new as well as veteran collectors to shop. At Fall's most anticipated antiques event, you'll rub elbows with the biggest celebrities and names in the antiques, decorating and design fields, all searching for the trend-setting artifacts that are found in abundance here. Third annual show, sponsored by Wethersfield Historical Society and Friends of the Fountain, held at Pitkin Community Center, 30 Greenfield Street, Wethersfield, CT. 10a.m. to 5p.m. Admission $5.00, $4.50 with coupon, 45 dealers with quality antiques in room settings, free lecture, "Wallace Nutting and the Invention of Old America," with Dr. Thomas Denenberg, Curator, American Decorative Arts at Wadsworth Atheneum, luncheon area, free parking. November 21-23, 2003. Alexandria, VA. HISTORIC ALEXANDRIA ANTIQUES SHOW. Forty-four dealers from fourteen states and England will offer the best of the best in 17th to 19th C. American, English and Continental furniture, tall clocks; fine art; ceramics; jewelry and silver, early glass and brassware; Oriental rugs; folk art and Shaker goods; ship models and barometers; garden furniture, and much more. ANTIQUES SHOW & SALE ("TREASURES & PLEASURES OF CHRISTMAS"), to be held on November 28th, 29th & 30th, at THE LAB SCHOOL OF WASHINGTON, 4759 Reservoir Road N.W.
