By Diana Edwards and Rodney Hampson

Our price $89.50

Salt-glazed stoneware was first made in the early sixteenth century in the Westerwald region of Germany. By the mid-seventeenth century, its manufacture had migrated to England, where the industry was centered in Staffordshire. This book, the first full-length study of this type of pottery in more than thirty years, incorporates a great deal of new information gleaned from archaeological excavations and documentary research. 200 colorplates, 240 illustrations.
