July 4-6. Santa Fe, New Mexico. THE EIGHTH ANNUAL SANTA FE SUMMER ANTIQUITIES SHOW. The Sweeney Center. The show features 60 prominent galleries and dealers from across the country and abroad, offering all who collect or just love antiques a broad selection ranging from folk to fine art, Asian to European and African works, as well as traditional material from the Americas. The Show opens Thursday evening, July 3rd with a gala, $50 a person, benefit preview reception from 6-8:30pm supporting the Georgia O'Keeffe Museum and continues Friday July 4th and Saturday July 5th 11am-6pm and Sunday July 6th 11am-5pm. July 12. Dorset, Vermont. THE 22nd BIENNIAL DORSET ANTIQUES SHOW This nationally known event takes place on the marble sidewalks and tree shaded lawns in this historic town where Vermont's independence was first declared. Quality merchandise from the 18th-early 20th century will be displayed. Antiques and the Arts Weekly writes the Dorset Show is "...one of the best places to be if you are serious about buying, selling or collecting antiques." A benefit for The Dorset Library Association.
