'The Export Yellow Pages' Can Help You Reach 50,000 Firms Engaged in International Business The 1990s are ushering in substantial global opportunities, and international business is fast becoming the road to growth and prosperity for many companies. To help U.S. companies compete effectively in this global environment, the Office of Export Trading Company Affairs within the International Trade Administration announces The Export Yellow Pages.
Up to 50,000 copies of this directory will be distributed domestically and internationally to executives involved in exporting. The majority of the directories will be distributed during World Trade Week in May 1991 through Department of Commerce offices in the United States and abroad as well as appropriate World Trade Week events.

Some Noteworthy Changes
The Export Yellow Pages is the revised, expanded version of the Partners in Export Trade Directory, with some noteworthy changes:
* This year, the directory is available free of charge because it is a public/private-sector initiative. To help offset printing costs, companies have the opportunity to advertise in the directory, for a nominal charge. To obtain more information on advertising, call (800) 288-2582 or (202) 337-6300. All companies registered in the database, as always, are listed in the directory free of charge.
* A new, easy to use format:
--Section One contains international trade service providers listed alphabetically under the type of service offered.
--Section Two contains U.S. exporters arranged alphabetically under their four-digit SIC classification.
--Index One contains an alphabetical listing of all the companies found in the directory.
--Index Two contains a geographic listing (by state), with service providers grouped under the type of service offered and exporters arranged alphabetically.
To have your company listed in The Export Yellow Pages, complete the form that was printed in the previous issue of Business America (dated Dec. 17 and 31, 1990) and mail it to your local Commerce Department district office. Additional forms, and assistance in determining the four-digit SIC code applicable to your company's service and/or product, are available from the district offices. (The Commerce district offices are listed on the last page of this magazine.)
