Two New ITA Lists Can Help Exporters Find Trade Contacts
Two new Trade Lists published by the Commerce Department can help U.S. exporters find prospective customers and business contacts in the Near East Gulf States, and trade contacts worldwide in the high-growth electronic components industry.
Bahrain, Kuwait, Oman, Qatar, and the United Arab Emirates: Business Firms includes information on more than 4,000 manufacturers, agents, distributors, retailers, and general importers in all product and service sectors.
The Electronic Components Trade List: Worldwide contains information on 1,800 foreign distributors, agents, retailers, wholesalers, and general importers.

Besides the name and address of each company, the Trade List gives the name and title of a key contact, telex and cable addresses, company size, year established, number of employees, and specific product interests. U.S. commercial officers in U.S. embassies and consulates abroad compile and telex this information to the Commerce Department daily.
These trade lists can be obtained for $40 each (prepaid) from the U.S. Department of Commerce, Office of Trade Information Services, P.O. Box 14207, Washington, D.C. 20044. Credit card orders can be placed by phone on 202-377-2432.
